Rosalind Darbeau started her violin carrer at the age of 10. Rosalind has performed as concertmaster in CSUN symphony orchestra and was Concertmistress of the West Coast Classical Orchestra. Rosalind continues as a section player in Southeast Symphony and has also subbed for AYS, YMF Debut Orchestra, and Bakersfield Symphony Orchestra. She has performed on stage with world-renowned artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Streetlight Manifesto, Deadmau5, R&B artist Natalie Cole, and rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
Rosalind began teaching the violin in 2011. This is where she realized she absolutely loves teaching students willing to learn such a beautiful instrument. Currently, she has shifted her private instruction into the classroom. 2019 was her first year as a middle school and secondary Director of Strings. She also teaches Middle School Choir. Rosalind understands how everyone learns differently and tailors her instruction that fits the needs of her students. She enjoys seeing her students excel in music and strive for excellence. Her goal for her students is to foster love, growth, and appreciation of diverse music. Rosalind enjoys her life as a performer and teacher and will continue to spread her musical talents throughout!

*What Should I wear?
The workshop may get messy and creative! We will provide you with an apron! This activity is very hands on and on occasion paint may splatter! Dress comfortably and ready to create!
